I make careful things: plans, systems, and the occasional pot.
I'm Matt. I help small businesses run smoother through project management and practical IT, and I teach people to make things from clay. Two crafts, one habit: doing the work properly and seeing it through.
Keeping projects, and the tech, on the rails.
Since 2015 I've helped small teams deliver work without the chaos. I map the path, herd the moving parts, and quietly fix the technology that's slowing everyone down. Most recently I was Project Manager of the Australian Ceramics Triennale.
Whether it's a project plan or a porcelain bowl, the work is the same: pay attention, take your time, finish it properly.
The quiet craft of clay, taught at a human pace.
Since 2021 I've been at the wheel evenings and weekends. I run small classes and workshops for beginners and returning makers, and I help new studios find their feet. I'm also President of the Belmont Potters Group and the Ceramic Arts Association of WA.
